Agapanthus in New Zealand : ウィキペディア英語版 | Agapanthus in New Zealand
''Agapanthus'', specifically ''Agapanthus praecox'' and its cultivars, is a popular and common garden plant in New Zealand, but it has now become an invasive species. == Garden appeal ==
Perhaps popularized by troops returning from the Second Boer War in Agapanthus's native range, surge of popularity in the early twentieth century. Agapanthus is often seen planted alongside fences in home gardens and framing driveway entrances. They also found lasting appeal at baches in New Zealand, for the extreme hardiness, salt-tolerance and very low maintenance.
